On the hunt for more reference info!

Now, I’m on the hunt for an electronic drug database and medical term dictionary…I’ve approached ASHP for their electronic drug guide – same as you see on medecinenet.com but haven’t heard back yet. What drug guide do you use? How often would you consult a med term dictionary?

Joint Commission on its way

We are expecting Joint Commission at my facility any day now. We are brushing up on all the regulatory guidelines. For example, we are held to the latest CDC hand hygiene guidelines and could be asked to recite such guidelines for the Joint Commission Surveyor. (more…)

Patient Simulator getting closer!

Where do you find the best nursing information?

So, I am on the hunt for some fabulous nursing links and RSS feeds for our online library. We’ve begun compiling many free nursing articles and abstracts from nursing journals as well as building a centralized repository of clinical guidelines. (more…)
