Jessica Ellis has been a registered nurse since 1999, after receiving her bachelor’s degree from Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC. Her multiple specialties have included ER, ICU, CVICU, PACU, NICU, and case management. She also has experience managing ECMO pumps for neonates and pediatric patients. She served as a paramedic in SC for two years, and participated in hurricane evacuations of coastal areas during that time. Jessica has also authored and edited online nursing course and animation content for Mosby/Elsevier through MedSenses®.  In addition, she has edited, revised, and served as a nursing consultant on the 2011 edition of the Jones and Bartlett Bloodborne and Airborne Pathogens manual, as well as served as a freelance editor for the 2011/2012 Caroline paramedic textbook to be published by Jones and Bartlett.

Jessica has been or is currently certified in CPR, BLS Instructor, PHTLS, ACLS, TNCC, CFRN, NRP, PALS, and Child Passenger Safety (CPS), and has taken continuing education classes in paramedicine, 12-lead EKG interpretation, pain management, genetics, pediatric core curriculum, ECMO technician animal labs, breastfeeding techniques, and flight medicine. She has served as a part of a breastfeeding policy and procedure committee, and as a volunteer child passenger safety evaluator and adviser for Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock, AR and the general community. She has taught for the in-house flight academy previously sponsored by AirEvac Lifeteam in Conway, Arkansas.

Jessica spent over 4 months total in Shanghai, China designing and teaching basic nursing, English, American culture, and medical education courses to Chinese nursing students and other medical students as part of a developing program to transition Chinese nurses into mainstream American culture and nursing practice. As of 2011, this successful program is ongoing.


Renee’ has been a Registered Nurse since 1995. Her varied nursing background has included extensive experience in Medical/Surgical, Labor and Delivery, Healthcare Education, and Hospice. She has worked as a Clinical Manager, spent several years developing Policyand Procedure, served as a Clinical Advisor working to identify regulatory compliance needs in both the hospital and Hospice setting, has been responsible for developing education programs for physicians, clinical staff, and community organizations, coordinated Continuing Medical Education program for physicians, and served as Subject Matter Expert developing content for Women’s Health courses and editing online animation content for Elsevier.

In 1994, Renee’ received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas.

She is a member of the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) and is certified in Advanced Fetal Monitoring and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). She has completed extensive continuing education courses in Palliative Care, Pain Management, Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance for the Hospice Conditions of Participation (CoPs) and The Joint Commission (JCAHO), and Continuing Medical Education (CME) for physicians. Renee’ has served as a member of her local hospital’s OB/GYN, Policy and Procedure, and Tumor Conference committees.


Rita has been a registered nurse since 1988, when she graduated cum laude from St. Anselm College (Manchester, NH) with her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She has extensive experience in medical-surgical and critical care nursing, and has worked as a staff nurse and clinical development specialist in these areas as well as emergency nursing and respiratory care.

She currently holds the position of Simulation Coordinator for Berkshire Health Systems in Pittsfield, MA where she is the manager of the organization’s patient simulation program. She has also served as adjunct faculty for the Associate’s Degree in Nursing program at Berkshire Community College in Pittsfield, and has been a freelance consultant for and contributor to a wide array of policy and procedure books ranging in topics from documentation, regulatory requirements, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, and nursing care of the cardiac patient. She is also a certified Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Basic Life Support instructor. She is the president and founder of NurSolutions, an innovative consultation and content development service for nursing and allied health providers in western Massachusetts.

Rita is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society of Nursing; National Nursing Staff Development Organization; International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Nursing; and Horizons (northeast regional chapter of American Association of Critical Care Nurses). She is currently a graduate student at The College of Our Lady of The Elms (Chicopee, MA) where she is pursuing a Master’s degree in Nursing Education.


Trisha has been a registered nurse for the past 15 years and is the founder of e-learning company, MedSenses Inc. and social learning network, NursesNetwork.com; each focused on continuing education in healthcare.  She is currently the Practice Manager, Healthcare for Bluedrop’s CoursePark product.

With a clinical background in coronary intensive care, addictions, pediatrics, level III neonatal care and flight nursing, she has authored hundreds of hours of clinically relevant e‐learning courseware. Having built and delivered training both at the University and Institutional education levels, Trisha brings a qualified approach to how we, as nurses, learn.

Trisha has spent the last ten years of her career researching e‐learning strategies and how these may be modified or applied to our community of nurses around the globe. She has written, been published, and presented numerous times on a healthcare‐specific e‐learning model around the globe.

Acting as a primary clinical advisor to many technology and publishing firms throughout North America such as Mosby’s and GeoLearning, Trisha hopes the payoff will be offering hospital administrators with qualified tools in providing their staff with greater job satisfaction & sense of value; she believes that education is the key to a higher quality healthcare environment.


Katie has been a Registered Nurse since 1985, obtaining her BSN in 2006 and her Master’s in Nursing Education in 2012.  While the past 25 years of her career have focused on acute care nursing, she has served as a nursing instructor and item writer for the NCLEX exam. Katie is also certified in adult medical and surgical nursing by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

In 2005, Katie decided to take on a new challenge and dedicate some of her time working as a legal nurse consultant. She is now a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society and in 2009, served as President of the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants (Atlanta chapter). Katie formed the Georgia Legal Nurse Consultant Society, organizing legal nurse consultants from across the state on a quarterly basis.


Having a dual baccalaureate in Nursing Sciences and Business Administration, Beth has a rare blend of both knowledge and experience. As a clinical practitioner, she has worked in a variety of areas from labor and delivery to dialysis to hospital‐based management and education. As a 20 year veteran of business, she has built international relationships and distribution, designed and implemented diverse sales and marketing strategies as well as managing complex international transactions.

An entrepreneur at heart, Beth has developed orientation and training materials for nursing personnel as well as having authored countless hours of clinical content, including evidence‐based courseware and competencies for some of the world’s largest publishers. Beth is a visionary who imposes a unique value on our development cycle, our products, and our innovations.
